The manuscript submission will be recognized in sequence received in the online submission system (http://www.jkos.org). The acknowledgment letter with the number assigned to the manuscript will be sent to the first author and the corresponding author. All the submitted manuscripts are sent to at least three expert consultants for peer review. They should inform the editors of any issues regarding dishonest acts such as fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism. Identities of peer reviewer and authors are kept confidential. The manuscript under review is not revealed to anyone other than the editorial staff members. Peer reviewers will be asked to recommend whether a manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected. Final decisions regarding manuscript publication are made by an Editor-in-Chief. The publication verdict is then notified to the corresponding author via the online submission system, along with consolidated comments of the reviewers regarding the manuscript. A point-by-point response is required to the reviewers’ comments. Before publication, page proofs will be sent to the corresponding author. The corresponding author is responsible for the final content, including all proofreading and copyediting changes.
