Abstract
The authors have experienced two cases of malignant glaucoma which were developed after a fistulizing procedure for subacute angle closure glaucoma. At first we tried to treat malignant glaucoma with conventional methods, such as mydriatics, diamox, hyperosmotic agents and posterior sclerotomy with air injection into the anterior chamber. But we failed to lower the intraocular pressure and reform the anterior chamber. Finally, combined trabeculectomy with lens extraction relieved the ocular pain and normalized intraocular pressure and obtained good visual acuity.
